BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. — Brooke used a relentless offensive attack Friday to defeat Bridgeport 15-3 at Bridgeport High School.
The Bruins wasted little time taking control, with a solo home run in the first inning. Brooke added four more runs in the second.
Brooke broke the game open in the third, plating five runs on four hits.
For Bridgeport, Mahaylee Messenger led the offense with a perfect 3-for-3 day at the plate. Amayah Clark added speed on the bases with two stolen bases.
Reese Van Zant took the loss for the Lady Indians, working all five innings.
Bridgeport returns to action Saturday when it hosts Hampshire for a doubleheader.
