BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. — Lincoln pulled away with a four-run seventh inning Thursday to defeat Bridgeport 7-0 at Bridgeport High School.

The Cougars broke a scoreless tie in the third inning Lincoln added insurance late, scoring four times in the seventh to seal the victory.

Addison Mike took the loss for Bridgeport despite a strong effort. The right-hander worked all seven innings, allowing seven runs, only two earned, on eight hits while striking out four.

Bridgeport managed just two hits in the game. 

Bridgeport will return to action Saturday when it hosts Keyser.
