Sophomore Carson Bastin rushed for 133 yards on 7 carries and scored three touchdowns, leading the Indians junior varsity to a 37-0 season-opening win over Keyser. Bastin was a part of three Indian rushers to score. Trey Spatafore added a 5-yard run, and Eli Martin scored on a 2-yard plunge to start the scoring. 

The Bridgeport defense kept Keyser from crossing the midfield stripe during the game as Max Conley and Ralph Rubenstein both recorded quarterback sacks. The win kept the Indians' JV win streak alive, as the Indians have not lost a junior varsity game since the 2019 season.
