Bridgeport is returning to the Class AAA state cheerleading tournament in Charleston as the Indians finished first in the Region II competition this evening at Lincoln High School.
 
Also heading to the state competition is Robert C. Byrd, finishing runner-up this evening.
 
The top two teams in each class from each region punch their ticket to the state event.
 
The state cheer championship will take place in Charleston Nov. 19 at the Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center.
