The Bridgeport High School swim teams head into the week of Christmas riding a wave of momentum.

The girls and boys teams combined to win 16 of 22 events at Friday's quad meet at The Citynet Center at The Bridge Sports Complex and swept the team titles.

Prior to that quad meet, that also featured Parkersburg, University and Philip Barbour, the Indians won 13 of 22 events in a dual meet at Elkins and had another sweep of the team titles.

The quad also featured a clean sweep for BHS in all six relay events.

The girls 200 medley relay team of
Kennedy Marsh,
Amelia Romano,
Emma Ahmed and
Gretchen Lang won with a time of 2:02.88.
Olivia Sweeney,
Kaitlyn Wagner, Jacie Wood and
Addyson Tharp teamed to win the 200 free relay at 2:03.04. In the 400 free relay, Marsh, Romano, Ahmed and Lang once again joined forces to take first place with a time of 4:06.72.

For the boys,
Jacob Keener,
Cole Parsons,
Owen Guthrie and
Nate Dodson on the 200 medley relay at 1:44.36. Guthrie and Parsons were joined by
Oren Sutphin and and
James Hadjis to win the 200 free relay at 1:32.53. Closing things out was a win in the 400 free relay with Sutphin, Keener, Dodson and Hadjis finishing with a time of 3:31.79.

Ahmed and Romano each won their two individual races at the quad meet. Ahmed swam a 26.31 to win the 50 free and posted a time of 1:05.18 in the 100 butterfly.

Romano took first place in the 100 free at 56.96 and in the 100 breaststroke at 1:14.46.

Tharp added a win in the 200 IM with a time of 2:40.14 and Marsh took first in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:10.62.

For the boys, Guthrie won both of his individual races, posting a time of 1:46.41 in the 200 free and 55.49 in the 100 backstroke. Dodson picked up a win in the 100 free at 53.32 and Hadjis won the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:05.95.

In Elkins, the boys also won all three relays. Keener, Parsons, Sutphin and Hadjis won the 200 medley at 1:49.19. Parsons and Sutphin along with Guthrie and Dodson won the 200 free at 1:34.68. In the 400 free, Keener, Dodson, Hadjis and Guthrie took first place with a time of 3:38.26.

Keener and Guthrie each won two individual races. Keener had a winning time of 2:12.77 in the 200 IM and posted a 1:03.47 in the 100 back. Guthrie won the 50 free with a time of 21.72 and the 100 breast with a time of 1:01.88.

Hadjis gave the Indians another win, finishing with a time of 5:33.03 in the 500.
