The Bridgeport boys finished four points behind George Washington to take state runner-up in Division One of the state swim meet in Morgantown. 
 
This was the final event for longtime Bridgeport coach Jan Grisso, who is the only coach the program has had. She began her career in 1992, and the sport wasn't to be sanctioned for another seven years. 
 
Despite a depleted roster, the Bridgeport girls finished fourth, just four points behind the Patriots.

On the weekend, the boys' 200 free relay team won the state title, along with girls' 200 medley relay team.

Emma Ahmed won the 100 and 50 free, and James Hadjis took the boys' 100 free.
