The Bridgeport Indians Golf Team are the Big 10 Champions. Competing at Stonewall Resort, the Indians shot a 329 to best Fairmont Senior and Lewis County who tied at 332.

The format for the Big 10 Championship was six golfers competing for each team and the four lowest scores for each team counting towards the team total. For Bridgeport, Alex Randolph, Audrey Kerr, Luke Rohrig, Patrick Aucremanne, Jackson Nicewarner, and Anthony Julian made up their six golfers.

Senior Audrey Kerr led the way for her team with a 76 on the par 72 course. She was followed closely by junior Alex Randolph, at 79. Rounding out Bridgeport's scores were sophomore Jackson Nicewarner with an 86 and senior Luke Rohrig with an 88 for the 329 team total.

Kerr's 76 garnered her medalist honors as the best score of all golfers in the tournament while Randolph's 79 was good for fourth.

Anthony Julian shot a 93 and Patrick Aucremanne shot a 101.

The Indians now set their sights on next week's Regionals back at Stonewall Resort being played October 5th. The format changes for Regionals, instead of six golfers competing and the top four scores counting, only four golfers participate for each team with the top three scores counting.
