The Bridgeport High School boys tennis team delivered an impressive performance on Saturday at the Big 10 Tennis Tournament, capturing two singles championships and advancing to another finals matchup at Deegan & Hinkle Lakes Park and Robert C. Byrd High School.
Leading the way for the Indians, Jacob Keener claimed the title at No. 2 singles, while Phillip Nguyen earned the championship at No. 4 singles.
Bridgeport also received a strong showing from Henry Smith, who finished as runner-up at No. 3 singles after advancing to the championship match.
The tournament will conclude Monday with doubles competition, which is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. at the same two venues.
