Bridgeport High School's duo of Madison Hansberry and Addi McCarthy recently captured the girls No. 2 doubles title at the Big 10 Conference tennis championships.
 
Hansberry, a senior, and McCarthy, a junior, rallied from two games down to defeat the team from Lewis County for the championship, 8-6.
 
Hansberry and McCarthy have been doubles partners for two seasons and they were the only members of the BHS tennis teams, boys or girls, to win a conference title.
 
The Indians will compete in regional action this week.
