The Bridgeport High School golf team improved to 14-1 in Big 10 Conference play by winning a tri-match on Thursday at Bridgeport Country Club with Lincoln and Robert C. Byrd.

It also marked Senior Night for the Indians as
Colton Gerhards,
Tanner Straley and
Anthony Hazey were recognized.

The Indians finished with a team score of 161 with Gerhards taking low medalist honors at 38.
Garrett Steele added a 40, Straley shot a 41 and
Audrey Kerr added a 42 to account for the 161 total.

Hazey finished the day with a 44 and
McKenna Knotts added a 49.

Earlier in the week, the Indians picked up a win in a quad match at Fairmont. BHS's score was 161, Fairmont Senior was the runner-up at 170, Preston was third at 175 and Buckhannon-Upshur was fourth at 184.

BHS now turns its attention to the Big 10 Conference tournament which takes place at 9 a.m. on Monday at the Preston Country Club.
