Bridgeport High School Indians

Joshua Ashby, originally from Keyser, WV, is a dedicated family man with a loving wife named Tiffany, a daughter named Callaway, and another little girl on the way. His passion for sports began early, playing both baseball and basketball throughout his four years at Keyser High School. Notably, he earned recognition as an All-State baseball player and received accolades as an All-Area basketball player.

Continuing his athletic journey, Joshua played baseball at Potomac State College for a year before transferring to WVU, where he graduated with a degree in Physical Education and Health Education in 2011. Following graduation, he embarked on a fulfilling career in teaching and coaching, spanning over 12 years at both the high school and middle school levels.

Among his many coaching achievements, Joshua holds a cherished memory of coaching both the Mountaineer Middle School boys and girls teams in the same year, leading the girls’ team to victory in the county championship an experience that epitomizes his dedication and passion for coaching.
