The Bridgeport Indians are once again Harrison County track & field champions, with the boys posting 151 points to defeat Lincoln (110), South Harrison (59), Robert C. Byrd (50) and Heritage Christian (5) and the girls scoring 172 points to beat Lincoln (96.5), Robert C. Byrd (56), South Harrison (37) and Heritage Christian (13) on Tuesday evening at RCB.

For the girls, Emma Kniceley-See (12.87 seconds) and Haydn Henderson (13.10) were first and second in the 100 meter dash.

Aria Selario (5:23.47) won the 1600 meter run and Mikaela DeMoss (6:13.72) brought home third.
Â
Liana Rajjoub (13:47.80) was the victor in the 3200 meter run.

Scarlett Edgell (17.72 seconds) and Katie Backus (17.81) were 1-2 in the 100 meter hurdles.
Â
Backus, Kennedy Wolfe, Isla Tobrey and Carley Lattea won the shuttle hurdles in 1:11.64.

Backus claimed the high jump with a clearance of 4-10 and Lattea was third at 4-06.

Tobrey won the pole vault, getting over 8-00, with Edgell (7-06) second and Bongiorno (6-06) fourth.

Becky Pepper-Jackson was a double winner in the shot put and discus, throwing 35-06.25 in the former event and 111-10 in the second; Isabella McCullough was second in the shot put with a throw of 31-08 and third in the discus at 88-07; Jazzy Brown finished fourth in the shot put with a best of 29-10.75.

Henderson (27.29 seconds) and Kniceley-See (27.31) placed second and third in the 200 meter dash.

Henderson (1:03.31) was also second in the 400 meter dash, with Wolfe (1:07.49) in fifth.

Henderson narrowly lost the long jump to Kaylin Sipher; both leapt 15-07, but Sipher did it a round earlier; Edgell was third with a best of 14-09.
