After a run to the Class AAA state semifinals and a runner-up finish in the Big 10 Conference, the Bridgeport Indians boys basketball team placed three players on the conference's first team, announced this week.

Aryon Dodd led Bridgeport in scoring at 15.2 points per game and hit a team-best 66 3-pointers while also averaging 3.4 rebounds a game with 21 total steals and 22 of Bridgeport's 32 total blocked shots.

Anderson McDougal was the Tribe's second-leading scorer at 14.4 points per game and was tops in assists per game (5) and rebounds per game (5.7).

Gavin Williams put in 12 points a contest with 38 made 3s, 3.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists a night.

Buckhannon-Upshur's Jerin Westfall is the Big 10's player of the year and is on the first team along with the Bridgeport trio; East Fairmont's Cayden Cooper and Hudson Brand; Elkins' Landon Shreve; Fairmont Senior's Darrell Claybrook; Lewis County's Jesse Kemper; North Marion's Connor Balwanz and Eli Ramsey; and Robert C. Byrd's Logan Boyce.
