Bridgeport High School standout
Audrey Kerr had another strong showing at the West Virginia High School Girls Golf Invitational Championship.

A year afterwinning the championship, Kerr nearly pulled off a repeat on Tuesday at The Links at Woodridge Golf Course in Mineral Wells.

After 18 holes, Kerr and Williamstown's Madilyn Buttrey were both at -3 69. Buttrey won a sudden death playoff to take medalist honors.

Kerr got off to a hot start as she birdied four of the first seven holes. Buttrey however had two birdies and two eagles on the final nine, the final birdie coming on hole 18 to force the tie.

A total of 88 golfers competed in the 18-hole event.

Also for the Indians,
McKenna Knotts finished tied for 18th with a +22 94.

Joining Buttrey and Kerr on the all-tournament team were: Morgantown's Angela Yao (73), George Washington's Chastyn Viars (73), John Marshall's Kianna Garrison (77), Capital's Alexis Green (78) Wirt County's Kate Dotson (79) and University's Abby Kingora (79).
