Gavin Williams late steal secured a season-opening 47-44 win over Fairmont Senior on Friday night. Williams scored 11 points along with Aryon Dodd. Sam Romano recorded four of the Indians' eight steals as the Indians started the defense of the Class AAA title with a win.

Bridgeport will travel to University on Tuesday night.
