The boys basketball team used a big third quarter to pull away from the Class AAA defending runners up Fairmont Senior 53-35. Sophomore Anderson McDougal scored 17 of his game high 23 points in the second half as the Indians turned an 8 point halftime lead into a 18 point road win. Phoenix Sickles added 10 points and Gavin Williams chipped in 9. 

The win was just the Indians first at the Fairmont Senior Armory since since 2019. Bridgeport returns home on Thursday to face Robert C. Byrd.
