Bridgeport's Myleigh Smell signed a letter to play volleyball for Wheeling University.
"Wheeling was one of my first options, but as soon as I got the offer, it was one that I took almost instantly," Smell said. "It was a choice that wasn't necessarily easy, but being there, it felt like home and I felt so welcomed being there. All of the girls were amazing so it made my choice a little bit easier
Smell, who has received all-state, county and conference honors throughout her career, displayed her versatility throughout her career. In addition to 632 kills, Smell concluded her senior season with 630 serve receptions, 400 digs, 74 aces, 63 blocks and 27 assists.She is also a strong candidate for player of the year honors.Â
Smell is planning to major in pediatric nursing.
