he Bridgeport High School golf team placed fourth at the Class AAA Region I championship match on Monday at Highland Springs Golf Course in Wellsburg.
 
University and Wheeling Park went 1-2 to earn the state tournament team spots. The Hawks finished with a 224 and the Patriots' score was 228.

 The Indians finished with a 242. Audrey Kerr led the way with a 79. Colton Gerhards had an 81 and Anthony Hazey shot an 82 to account for the 242 team points. Also, for BHS, Tanner Straley shot an 86.
