Jacob Stavrakis threw a complete game four-hitter, and the Indians pounded out 7 runs to advance to the championship round of the regionals. Bridgeport will await the bracket to play out before hosting the winner of Berkeley Springs-Hampshire, who will then travel to Lincoln.

The Indians tallied 11 hits, with Stavrakis helping his effort on the mound with three RBI. Michael Romano, Owen Sondericker, and Kasen Baun also had two hits in the win.

Bridgeport would have to be beaten twice by whoever comes out of the losers' bracket. With a win, the Indians would advance to the three-game series super regional next week with a berth in the state tournament on the line.
