The Indians used two strong pitching performances in a pair of home wins on Wednesday, beating South Harrison 4-2 and Lewis County 4-0. In game one,
Guy Ovolio surrendered just two hits and struck out five, and
Carson Currey went 2 for 2 at the plate and picked up the save.
In the nightcap,
Aidan Dunn struck out 11 Lewis County batters in the shutout win over the Minutemen. Currey and
Owen Sondericker had the only two hits of the game for the Indians in the win over the Big 10 Conference foe.
Bridgeport will be back in action in Morgantown at the Mon County Classic this weekend. The Indians will face Wheeling Park at 3pm on Friday and George Washington at 8pm.
