The Indians amassed 11 hits in a 9-2 win over Wheeling Park in the Indians opening game of the Mon County Classic on Friday afternoon in Morgantown. Jack Gould, Jacob Stravakis, Luke Rohrig, and Carson Currey all collected two hits apiece in the win.

In the nightcap, the Indians couldn't keep up with George Washington falling 10-2. Gould and Stravakis each drove in a run in the Indians second loss of the season.

Bridgeport continues play in Morgantown on Saturday, facing Urbana from Maryland and top-ranked Jefferson.
