The Indians (2-1) scored six runs in the fifth inning and never looked back in a 10-3 win over St. Albans on Saturday at Jack Cook Stadium in Huntington. With the bases loaded in a scoreless game,
Owen Sondericker singled and
Luke Rohrig doubled in runs to open the scoring.
Justin Duvall earned the win, allowing just two hits, three runs, and striking out five. Sondericker, came on two pitch the final two innings to get the save, including three strike outs.
The Indians will open up at home on Monday night hosting Preston at 5pm.
