The Lady Indians opened the 2025-2026 season with a 49-30 loss to defending Class AA State Champion Charleston Catholic on Friday night. Reese Pierce led the Indians in scoring with 11 points, while fellow senior Haylee Pryor added 8 and Sadie Bowen chipped in 7. 

The Indians continue play in the Fairmont Senior Mixer at the Amory on Saturday as Bridgeport faces University which opened the season with a 64-36 win over the Polar Bears.
