The Bridgeport High School girls basketball team won its season opener on Tuesday at the Armory in Fairmont, defeating Fairmont Senior, 51-47.
 
Hayley Pryor led the way for the Indians with 21 points. Avery Humble added eight points.
 
Kloey Martinez had seven points, 11 rebounds and eight steals.
 
Reese Pierce finished with five points and the BHS scoring was rounded out by Delaney Dotson with four, Olivia Bell with three and Ellie McCall with three. 

The Indians will be back in action this weekend in Fairmont against Wheeling Central and Capital.
